Golf Maintenance Tech/Equipment Operator

Essential Job Functions

• Supports daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and landscaped areas to ensure consistent course playability and appearance.
• Operates mowers, utility vehicles, sand trap rakes, line trimmers, blowers, and other turf care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Loads, unloads, and organizes tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily assignments or transport.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe maintenance shop and equipment storage areas.
• Performs general labor tasks including raking, shoveling, debris removal, bunker maintenance, and other physical work essential to course upkeep.
• Communicate effectively to supervisors’ maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and repairs as necessary.
• Identifies and reports unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or hazards to supervisory staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Director of Agronomy.

Experience and Education

• Two years working in grounds maintenance
• Basic landscaping skills include mowing, trimming, and planting
• Experience using related tools and equipment
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or Equivalent
