Golf Maintenance Tech/Equipment Operator

Position Summary

The Grounds Maintenance and Pool Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of the landscaping and swimming pool of the property.

Essential Job Functions

- Supports daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and landscaped areas to ensure consistent course playability and appearance. - Operates mowers, utility vehicles, sand trap rakes, line trimmers, blowers, and other turf care equipment safely and efficiently. - Loads, unloads, and organizes tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily assignments or transport. - Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe maintenance shop and equipment storage areas. - Performs general labor tasks including raking, shoveling, debris removal, bunker maintenance, and other physical work essential to course upkeep. - Communicate effectively to supervisors’ maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and repairs as necessary. - Identifies and reports unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or hazards to supervisory staff. - Performs additional duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Director of Agronomy.

Experience and Education

- Two years working in grounds maintenance - Basic landscaping skills include mowing, trimming, and planting - Experience using related tools and equipment - Minimum High school diploma, GED or Equivalent
