A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE OPERATOR
- Learning and performing all tasks associated with the daily maintenance of an upscale golf course.
- Performing golf course setup tasks such as changing cups, moving tee markers, emptying trash cans, filling divot buckets, moving hazard markers, cleaning comfort stations, and addressing associated detail items.
- Operating various types of equipment including mowers (tee, fairway, rough), tractor-drawn equipment (pull frame fairway and rough mowers, top dressers, topdress trailers, front-end loaders, tractor-drawn sprayers, bush hog mowers), and two-cycle hand tools (string trimmers, edgers, hand blowers).
- Applying granular fertilizers, wetting agents, and pesticides.
- Maintaining safety standards for oneself, fellow employees, and members/guests.

Job Skills And Qualifications
- At least 1 year of Golf Course Maintenance experience.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work for long periods of time while walking, standing, or stooping.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions/instructions.
- Compliance with and support of the Drug Free Workplace Policy.
- Team-oriented attitude.
