Golf Assist Pro - Stone Mountain Admin

Job Responsibilities

• Daily shifts at the golf operations check-in desk, including completing daily close-out procedures.
• Helping the Director of Golf and Head Professional with coordinating daily guest and member play.
• Aiding in the creation of a monthly golf events calendar to assist golf course maintenance, F&B department, and member service staff.
• Enforcing all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Being aware of the pace of play on the course during the day.
• Effectively communicating with guests to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Incorporating safe workplace practices in job performance.
• Assisting with implementing tournaments, running group outings and special events.
• Aiding in organizing and maintaining ancillary services such as GHIN.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• One to two years previous work experience in a golf course environment preferred.
• Must have a thorough understanding of golf.
• Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and sitting.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

About the Role

The assistant golf professional will help create a 5-star golf experience. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
