Golf Player's Assistant

About the role

The Course at Wente Vineyards is seeking enthusiastic and guest service-driven team members for part-time positions as Golf Player’s Assistants. Essential duties include providing exceptional service to players and guests, assisting with pace of play, enforcing policies, informing guests about events, and maintaining the course.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to players and guests
• Offer assistance to players as needed
• Record and communicate pace of play to the golf operations team
• Inform and enforce pace of play, dress code, and other policies in a tactful manner
• Be knowledgeable about and inform guests about current and upcoming events
• Maintain the course by monitoring, repairing, and assisting with cleaning tasks

Requirements

• A customer service-oriented, outgoing personality
• Desire to provide a high level of guest service, always aiming to exceed expectations
• Personal experience playing golf; knowledge of the game
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart
• Punctuality
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction
