Golf Pro Shop Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals in managing golf operations.
• Support golfer check-in and fee collection; oversee play; reconcile daily tee sheets.
• Administer point of sales applications related to green fees, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
• Promote all club golf activities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
• Create and maintain accurate records and bill locker usage for memberships.
• Assist during tournaments and weekly games.
• Monitor members' scores, report handicaps to the USGA, and bill members.
• Follow established opening and closing procedures.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Prefer previous golf course and/or retail experience.
• High School Diploma preferred, but some College or College Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must have strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Desire to promote and market, and maintain a positive professional image within the community.
