Global Workplace & Projects Lead

Reporting to the Head of Global Workplace, Real Estate & Facilities (WREF), this role partners with leadership to shape and execute global workplace strategy, standards, and projects (excluding real estate transactions).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of global real-estate and workplace planning guidelines, including space-design frameworks, metrics, governance, and processes that enhance the employee workplace experience.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Global Head of WREF, aligning workplace initiatives with corporate goals and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of global workplace strategies that support business objectives, improve employee experience, and optimize space utilization.
  • Ensure workplace solutions align with broader corporate objectives, emphasizing employee experience, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee regional teams responsible for executing workplace initiatives, including space planning, moves, and renovations.
  • Drive consistency in workplace execution across global offices, ensuring adherence to corporate standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead the development of change-management frameworks and strategies to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of workplace initiatives.
  • Champion internal communication and engagement efforts, positioning the team as a trusted partner in workplace transformation.
  • Oversee global real-estate and workplace projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with corporate objectives.
  • Manage all project engagement, including external providers, developing PM engagement MSAs, and supporting internal resources accountable for delivery.
  • Implement and manage project-management tools, reporting systems, and governance frameworks to drive transparency, accountability, and efficiency in project execution.
  • Integrate the global sustainability strategy within the workplace function, driving initiatives such as energy efficiency, zero-waste programs, and green-building certifications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability goals into workplace strategies, ensuring the organization meets its long-term ESG targets.
  • Lead analytics for the global real-estate portfolio, providing data-driven insights to optimize space use, reduce costs, and inform capital-expenditure decisions.
  • Use advanced data analytics and reporting tools to guide real-estate and workplace strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in a corporate workplace design and delivery function
  • Experience developing workplace standards into a program, playbook, or guidebook
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workplace metrics and workplace scope development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
