Global Trade and Supply Chain Finance - Product Manager
About the role
Own and drive Trade Product Management for the North America Portfolio. Own commercialization, lifecycle management, and risk management across the portfolio of working capital solutions such as Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance. Partner closely with Legal, Contract Management, Business Controls, Operations, Fulfillment, Technology, Compliance and Operational Risk, Sales, Credit Risk, and more. Lead cross-functional engagements to own the lifecycle of product developments in the North American market, translating client and market needs into a value proposition. Partner with Sales/Coverage to support complex deals, structuring, and client pitches, providing product expertise and thought leadership. Embed strong controls and governance into product execution, liaising with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive Trade Product Management for the North America Portfolio
- Commercialize, manage the lifecycle, and manage risk across the portfolio of working capital solutions
- Partner closely with various departments including Legal, Contract Management, Business Controls, Operations, Fulfillment, Technology, Compliance and Operational Risk, Sales, Credit Risk, and more
- Lead cross-functional engagements to own the lifecycle of product developments in the North American market
- Translate client and market needs into a value proposition
- Partner with Sales/Coverage to support complex deals, structuring, and client pitches
- Embed strong controls and governance into product execution
- Liaise with stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in trade finance and working capital solutions
- Credit & Legal acumen in trade solutions, specifically supply chain finance (payables & receivables)
- Strong interpersonal skills and solid partnership skills to facilitate interactions at different levels within the organization
- Ability to influence and drive urgency/actions across functions
- Effective at identifying risks, owning work streams, and finding path to execution
- Strong commercial instinct with experience supporting complex deal structuring and client transactions
- High level of ownership and accountability
