The Global Technology Division
The Global Technology division manages critical systems and platforms for the company's retail, commercial, and institutional businesses, as well as key support functions worldwide. We develop and deploy leading-edge technology in areas such as mobile and online banking, payments processing, technology infrastructure, cyber-security, risk and capital management, and enterprise data management. Our mainframe environment is the third largest globally. Teams focus on immersive technology, offering comprehensive tools like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and practice simulations in financial centers.
Program Overview
The Summer program is a 10-week experience designed to provide Summer Analysts with exposure to Bank of America and significant contributions to the team. It includes an in-person orientation week, peer and mentor relationships, and educational speaker events. Interns will have the opportunity to learn key skills and competencies, making a real impact from day one. Direct placements allow interns to work on real-time, business-critical projects.

Education & Experience
Undergraduate or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Graduation timeframe between November 2027 and August 2028
Penultimate year of school for Masters candidates
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Relevant major or course of study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of programming languages, data visualization tools, application frameworks, distributed systems, and databases
Ability to handle ambiguity and change in priorities
Influencing skills and assertiveness
Distinguished written and oral communication skills
Intellectual curiosity, drive for excellence, and commitment to sustainable results
Strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office

Cybersecurity Analyst

Cybersecurity Analysts work in a global team to identify, prevent, and mitigate security risks. They analyze enterprise technologies, develop strategies, and respond to cybersecurity incidents. Required skills include coursework in cybersecurity, networking, information systems, and programming, along with practical understanding of core cyber security principles and interest in financial services.
