Global Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Global Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team. The role involves optimizing inventory levels globally to ensure customer product availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the supply plan for key business units, ensuring product availability aligns with demand forecasts and financial targets.
• Execute all tactical responsibilities associated with purchase order management, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze supply chain data using tools like Excel, BI platforms, and ERP systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare data and materials for Demand and Supply Review meetings.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners and Sales teams to support product launch planning and the effective phase-in and phase-out of products.
• Work closely with various departments to ensure supply chain activities align with overall company objectives and to help resolve any supply disruptions.
• Participate in supply chain initiatives and recommend enhancements to processes and systems that improve speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Buying, Inventory Control, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS – CPIM or CSCP or ISM – Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supply Diversity (CPSD)
• Strategic Sourcing, Procurement preferred.
• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
