Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day wave planning, reporting, KPI, productivity tracking, and trend analysis for the site. The position also manages the queue, posts receipts, and manages the administration of Safety and Training reports.
- Understand customer requirements, operator productivity, transportation schedules, and inventory flow to create an efficient daily wave plan for the facility.
- Develop and analyze reports on operations methods, processes, and equipment for current operational needs and future objectives.
- Develop audit reports to ensure data integrity and process compliance.
- Track KPI metrics and analyze trends, understand and report on the operational activities driving the data.
- Manage the queue control for the site and process system transactions as required.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports, including trend analysis, as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Distribution/Warehouse Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Finance, or other data-driven environments.
- BA/BS Degree preferred.
- APICS Certification Preferred.
- Must have the ability to integrate information and data from a variety of sources to develop an optimized work plan.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Self-directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem identification & follow-through to issue resolution.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals.
- High analytical ability and advanced Excel reporting skills (vlookup, pivot tables, & macros).
- Experience with WMS; JDA (Red Prairie), and/or SAP a plus.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plus.
