Global Strategy & Partnerships Lead - Platform
MiQ is looking for a technical and commercially minded lead to provide 12-month maternity coverage. Alongside the VP, Global Strategy & Partnerships, this role will own a portfolio of priority buy and sell side partnerships while helping shape MiQ’s approach to emerging buying models (e.g., agentic, container).
About the role
The successful candidate will act as the central bridge between external partners and MiQ product, trading, strategy, and commercial teams, ensuring MiQ leads in platform strategy and buying models.
Responsibilities
- Own senior relationships across priority DSP, SSP, and publisher partners, generating and maintaining commercial momentum via QBRs, commercial commitment tracking, and regular communication on growth opportunities.
- Identify, prioritize, and operationalize new partner testing and integration opportunities, including alphas, betas, and roadmap asks that lead to differentiated capability development for MiQ.
- Lead strategic workstreams related to the future of buying, including agentic, container, and MCP opportunities—ranging from partner evaluation, test prioritization, and client and internal commercial coordination.
- Translate partner capabilities into clear internal development recommendations, surfacing technical specs, laddering to commercial growth opportunities or revenue prioritization, and quarterbacking communication between MiQ development and partner engineering teams.
- Support MiQ’s market positioning through joint partner narratives, strategic partner marketing, case study development, etc.
- Provide continuity of leadership across adjacent supply and platform workstreams, including oversight of a direct report.
Requirements
- 7+ years in advertising technology, partnerships, strategy, or product, with strong knowledge of the programmatic and platform landscape.
- Proven ability to build and manage complex external partnerships and turn them into tangible commercial and product integrations.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate large, multi-market deals, extracting financial and strategic value for the business.
- Comfortable working globally and cross-functionally across product, trading, commercial, finance, and legal teams.
- Curious about AI and agentic workflows but pragmatic about where they create real client, efficiency, or operational value.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and energized by operating in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment.
Benefits
- A hybrid work environment.
- New hire orientation with job-specific onboarding and training.
- Internal and global mobility opportunities.
- Competitive healthcare benefits.
- Bonus and performance incentives.
- Generous annual PTO, paid parental leave, with two additional paid days to acknowledge holidays, cultural events, or inclusion initiatives.
- Employee resource groups designed to connect people across all MiQ regions, drive action, and support our communities.
