Global Software Project Manager- Airbag ECU

About the role

Represent Bosch at the customer for all airbag software topics. Plan feature introduction in customer mainstream and maintain software roadmap. Participate in software design and code reviews. Finalize Business Scorecard (BSC) in Q1, achieve BSC goals, drive improvement measures, and present progress every 6 weeks to management.

• Manage software requirements from analysis to acceptance
• Support business plan for software and track software budget regularly
• Use dashboard (ALM) data as primary source for steering
• Coordinate and review software effort estimates and confirm software resources with line manager (RFQ + DCRs)
• Act as Software Delivery Responsible (SDR)
• Present software status in PRC-L3 and KPR meetings (including BE and OSS Radar KPIs)
• Lead lessons learned activities
• Define software milestone plan and review software project plans/timing within the account periodically

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in automotive embedded systems and software development (including development models like ASPICE)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software project management
• PMP certification strongly preferred
• Proficient in C/C++ programming language
• Knowledge of airbag technology/sensors highly preferred
• Experience working within global teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled with MS Office suite applications
