About the role
Join a team that feels like family—and bring order to high-volume, multi-entity accounting. NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. We're launching a centralized Global/Shared Resources Accounting Team, and we need a Senior Accountant who can own balance sheet reconciliations across 60+ facilities and build the automated Excel templates that keep the whole team moving efficiently.
Responsibilities

- Own Global/Shared Resources journal entries: revenue, payroll, accruals, amortization, and right-of-use entries
- Design and maintain reusable reconciliation templates, automate repetitive workflows, and standardize file structures across the team
Requirements
- 4–5 years of accounting experience with solid GAAP knowledge (accruals, journal entries, close process)
- Proven ability to reconcile balance sheets across 30+ entities simultaneously (multi-entity experience is non-negotiable)
- Advanced Excel skills beyond pivot tables and XLOOKUP; you write VBA macros and build Power Query flows
- A knack for turning messy data into clean, automated templates—and you thrive in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
- Experience building audit support workpapers
- Familiarity using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in real accounting workflows
- Macro or scripting experience for data automation
- Healthcare or multi-location industry background
