About the Role
This role leads Salesforce's global paid search program across all markets and channels. You'll define and execute SEM strategy, build AI-powered workflows that scale program performance, and partner cross-functionally with Web, SEO, Analytics, and Product to connect paid search directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes - with a relentless focus on what happens after the click, from lead quality to product adoption.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Own and evolve the global paid search strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and emerging search platforms - bringing a strategic, test-and-learn mindset to keyword architecture, bid strategy, campaign structure, and budget decisions tied to pipeline and revenue goals
- Build and embed AI and automation tools into daily workflows to accelerate keyword research, ad copy generation, reporting, and bidding optimization - and develop a clear point of view on winning in AI-native environments where user behavior and search itself are fundamentally changing
- Partner with SEO, Web, and Product teams to align paid and organic strategy, optimize landing pages for conversion and message-match, and close the loop between ad platform inputs and down-funnel quality signals like product activation and revenue
- Define the SEM measurement framework from click to product activation to revenue, and communicate insights, experiment results, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership through dashboards and clear data narratives
You're Our Person If...
- You have 7+ years of experience in paid search and SEM, including at least 2 years managing global programs with significant budget accountability
- You think in frameworks - you can isolate variables, design structured tests, and clearly articulate your decision-making process, even in situations where you haven't had direct experience
- You're highly analytical with experience building dashboards and reports in tools like GA4, Looker, or Tableau, and designing A/B tests with statistical rigor
- You have a strong understanding of how paid and organic search interact across the full funnel, and how down-funnel quality signals can and should feed back into campaign strategy
- You're actively leveraging and harnessing AI's impact on search - from AI Overviews to conversational search - to implementing AI tools to execute and scale your programs and workflows
Even Better If...
- You have experience in B2B product-led growth companies, marketing to SMBs and or consumer marketing
- You're adept and comfortable with other paid media channels: paid social, display, programmatic
