Global Facilities Manager
Accountabilities
The Global Facilities Manager will oversee worldwide facility operations, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, compliance, and a high-quality workplace experience across multiple locations.
Lead strategic planning and daily management of global facilities operations across international regions.
Oversee facility maintenance, workplace planning, lease administration, construction activities, security programs, and sustainability initiatives.
Manage global vendor relationships, contracts, service providers, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Develop and manage facilities budgets, monitor spending, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with global health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with HR, IT, Security, and other internal teams to deliver effective workplace solutions.
Establish and implement global facilities policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Support corporate real estate strategies, including site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and location planning.
Lead facility-related projects such as office expansions, relocations, renovations, and workplace improvements.
Support business continuity, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation initiatives across locations.
Drive sustainability programs and contribute to environmental responsibility goals.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business objectives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced facilities leader with strong global operations expertise, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across cultures and business functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or professional certifications such as IFMA or PMP are considered a plus.
8+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, including at least 3 years managing global or multi-site operations.
Proven experience overseeing complex workplace environments, facilities programs, and international operations.
Strong knowledge of global building regulations, sustainability practices, and workplace technologies.
Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams across multiple regions.
Excellent project management, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to manage budgets, contracts, vendors, and operational performance metrics.
Proficiency with facilities management platforms such as CAFM or IWMS systems.
Experience with corporate real estate strategy and workplace planning preferred.
Knowledge of ESG initiatives and LEED principles is a plus.
Multilingual capabilities are beneficial.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
