Manager, Global Facilities
Job Summary
The Manager, Global Facilities is responsible for driving global facilities strategy for Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, focusing on operational oversight, risk management, and lease administration across international locations.
About the Role
This role supports corporate offices, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, product development and engineering sites, ensuring facilities are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs. It also involves leading global facilities risk management efforts, managing landlord relationships, and developing and maintaining dashboards for leadership visibility.
Responsibilities
- Drive global facilities strategy and ensure facilities are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs.
- Support corporate offices, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, product development and engineering sites.
- Lead global facilities risk management efforts, partnering with insurance providers to assess facility risks and coordinate required improvements across sites.
- Manage landlord relationships, support expansions, renewals, and new site identification in partnership with leadership.
- Build and maintain a global network of facility vendors and resources, particularly across international sales offices, ensuring readiness to address local facility needs.
- Partner with country and site leaders to assess facility needs, resolve issues, and support ongoing operations across global locations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to provide leadership visibility into lease status, market conditions, and overall facilities performance.
- Own and improve facilities processes in ambiguous environments, creating structure, consistency, and clarity across global operations.
- Oversee mailroom operations and staff across Rosemont and Schaumburg, ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations.
- Provide ownership of office space planning and workplace coordination, partnering with HR and IT.
- Ensure facilities maintain appropriate safety systems and compliance standards and practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in facilities, real estate, or corporate services within a multi-site or global environment.
- Proven experience managing lease portfolios, landlord relationships, and real estate coordination.
- Experience operating in ambiguity, particularly within a global environment, with the ability to build processes and create structure from the ground up.
- Ability to partner directly with executive leadership and operate with a high degree of independence.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to balance risk, cost, and operational needs.
- Experience managing vendors and external partners across multiple regions.
- People leadership experience, including oversight of small operational teams (e.g., mailroom or facilities support staff).
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in facilities risk management and/or insurance-driven environments preferred.
- Experience in facilities management, real estate, or corporate services.
- Experience in managing lease portfolios, landlord relationships, and real estate coordination.

Pay
The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $93,000 - $135,900 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities.

The schedule for this position is typically full-time.
