About the role
Downtown Music Publishing is looking for a Global Client Services Coordinator to join the team and support our growing base of music publishing clients. This hybrid position can be based in our New York, Los Angeles, or Nashville locations.
What you'll do
- Serve as an internal advocate for Downtown clients
- Interact across departments at Downtown Music Publishing
- Create data-based reports highlighting royalty, copyright, and sync information to be shared both internally and externally
- Maintain department data resources such as Airtable, Google Drive and Salesforce
- Assist with onboarding and maintenance procedures for new and existing clients
- Handle client correspondence in a professional and timely manner
- Stay informed on industry happenings to better understand how changes can affect our business
You are / have
- General knowledge or coursework in music business (publishing knowledge is a plus)
- Professional work experience in the music industry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Very strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail, self motivator with an inquisitive mindset
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make judgment calls
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite / Google Suite / computer
- Experience with computer programs such as Salesforce, Airtable, Music Maestro, preferred

Pay
The hiring range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
