About the role

As a Global Advisory Testing Engineer at Lenovo, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining testing strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of Lenovo's products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, and quality assurance to develop test plans and execute tests to validate product functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for new and existing products.
  • Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and design test cases accordingly.
  • Document test results and provide feedback to improve product quality and processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment on testing strategies and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or related field.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Knowledge of software testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
  • Understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
