GL Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our global, culturally-led creative agency. This position will be based in our Philadelphia office but will work closely with the finance and accounting team members across all 160over90 locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, work independently and proactively, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close duties and reporting, including recording accurate journal entries
• Conduct monthly balance sheet account reviews and reconciliations to ensure ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial reports and records for discrepancies
• Assist with management of cash flow forecasting, including daily oversight of bank activity and preparation of bank reconciliations
• Coordinate inter- and intracompany reconciliations and reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Assist with various ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed

Requirements

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of general accounting experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Experience utilizing SAP accounting software (a plus)
