GL Accountant

Job Title: GL Accountant Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 Work Model: Hybrid Hours: 40.0 ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements.Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.Assist with audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accounting and financial initiatives.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.Relevant accounting or finance experience.Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Strong professional judgment and commitment to confidentiality.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification such as CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification.Experience with ERP or other financial management systems.Background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or audit support.Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
