About the role

Great retail decisions start with location intelligence. As GIS Manager, you will be at the heart of how the LEGO Group understands where to play, where to grow, and where the next opportunity lies. You will drive innovation in how we visualize, connect, and democratize location data, enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the business. Your work will directly influence strategic retail decisions, helping shape the future of our global store network while improving how location intelligence is used across the LEGO Group.

Responsibilities

  • Create and own self-serve GIS tools, which will be used to visualize the network roadmaps across all Branded Channels (e.g., ArcGIS Online, CARTO, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand capabilities and requirements to ensure outputs are fit for purpose.
  • Maintain and build databases ensuring one centralized place for spatial data (e.g., retail and competitor landscape, demographic data).
  • Ensure internal data is leveraged efficiently and can be embedded into projects and deliverables (Insider data—store and .COM data, Audience data).
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation of GIS workflows, data processes, and reporting to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across projects.
  • Provide supporting spatial and store-based analysis across all channels, generating insight that informs store-level and broader strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise with enterprise GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, CARTO, QGIS, and data visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience designing and delivering scalable, self-service GIS products and data solutions for a broad range of business users.
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and Python.
  • A strong drive for ensuring data integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to structure documents, quantitative analysis, and PowerPoint presentations for executive-level communication.
  • Ability to independently manage project objectives.
  • Experience working for a global Retail/FMCG/CPG company and an understanding of different retail landscapes is a plus.

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $107,885.00 to $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
