Responsibilities

  • Aid in researching, editing, compiling, and analyzing geographic information.
  • Maintain spatial databases, products, and services.
  • Create production-quality maps and web mapping applications.
  • Perform geocoding, georeferencing, digitizing, or other data collection methods (potentially including GIS-based field inspections).
  • Contribute to the preparation of maps, tables, charts, reports, and presentations.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in Geology, Geospatial Science, Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, a GIS certificate program, or a related field, or in progress of degree.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • One or more years of experience (or 1 or more courses) working with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in GIS technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and produce accurate work.
  • Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration while managing multiple priorities.
