Responsibilities
- Aid in researching, editing, compiling, and analyzing geographic information.
- Maintain spatial databases, products, and services.
- Create production-quality maps and web mapping applications.
- Perform geocoding, georeferencing, digitizing, or other data collection methods (potentially including GIS-based field inspections).
- Contribute to the preparation of maps, tables, charts, reports, and presentations.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in Geology, Geospatial Science, Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, a GIS certificate program, or a related field, or in progress of degree.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- One or more years of experience (or 1 or more courses) working with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in GIS technology.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and produce accurate work.
- Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration while managing multiple priorities.
