GIS Coordinator – Open until 7/27/26

Job Summary

This position reports to the Community Services Director and is responsible for the coordination and progress of the cooperative geographic information system, rural addressing, floodplain management, subdivision regulations and planning.

Responsibilities

• Assign addresses in Eddy County to meet NENA, US Postal Service, and 911 database requirements.
• Assign new addresses as requested by property owners.
• Perform all duties with minimal supervision.
• May be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Knowledge of rural addressing, floodplain management, and subdivision regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GIS software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
