About the role
Gilead Community Services is seeking a responsible and experienced Second Shift Supervisor to join our Community Transitional Residence (CTR) program. The position works 40 hours: Monday-Friday 3p-11p with flexibility required providing second shift administrative and clinical oversight of the CTR program.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical knowledge regarding mental health and developmental disorders through supervision, staff training and education.
- Serves as a liaison between the Residential Program Director and the Clinical Team, ensuring the program produces high quality, recovery-oriented services to all clients, in accordance with agency standards.
- Supports the Residential Program Director in leading an effective program by implementing clinical services, best practice models of care and daily functions as required by contractual and regulatory bodies.
- Maintains and implements the Recovery and Trauma informed philosophies with direct implications to staff, clients, family, and community development.
- Applies clinical knowledge by assisting with timely admissions, continued services, and discharge processes for the program.

- Ensures program compliance through the timely and accurate reporting of data both internally and externally as needed.
- Consults with the Residential Program Director, Psychiatrist, Clinician, Behavioral Specialist, Nurse and other team members regarding medical and mental health needs regarding risk management.
- Responds to after-hours calls, for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed on a rotating on-call basis.
- Oversees the employee schedules, time off requests, and daily workflow management of the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field with 3 years’ supervisory experience required, or Master’s Degree with 2 years’ experience.
- Prior administrative and clinical experience in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities.
- Experience with addictions preferred.
- Ability to manage under stressful or crisis situations.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to meet deadlines and establish and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends when necessary.
