About the Role
This position will provide outpatient clinical services at the Byrd Institute and conduct and manage various clinical trials within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Supports various clinical trials including conducting medical assessments, overseeing study interventions and assessments, data collection, and overall coordination of research trials according to protocols.
- Provides outpatient psychiatric clinical care, including evaluation, diagnosis, assessment, treatment, and care of adult patients.
- Completes open encounters and other clinical documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency training program.
- Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate, or professor.
- Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Must obtain credentialing with USF Health.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Geriatric Psychiatry experience.
