Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Utilize a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation during rounds.
• Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship and ongoing training for clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in Texas.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time; 4-5 days per week for full-time.
• Willingness to travel to facilities within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in geriatric care and wound management.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on clinical excellence.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm (45-hour workweek).
• Part-time: Minimum 3 days per week.
• No nights, no call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits.
