Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse (Full-Time) (Rotating)

Role Overview Provides direct patient care for adults aged 55+ in a supportive behavioral health setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Include Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and advocate for personalized care. Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with RN licensure; Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience preferred. The role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
