Geriatric Psychiatry Nurse (Full-Time, Rotation)

Role Overview Provides direct patient care to adults aged 50+ in a supportive behavioral health setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness and safe practices. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree minimum; Bachelor's preferred.No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience preferred for advanced roles.Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
