What You'll Be Doing
- Perform field and on-site lab testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
- Conduct moisture and density testing, including nuclear density tests on compacted materials
- Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis
- Work directly with experienced professionals in a collaborative, team-focused environment
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering a plus!
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Steel-toe boots and readiness for physical work
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 80 pounds (e.g., concrete samples)
- Comfortable with outdoor work, physical tasks, and variable site conditions
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated attitude, and team mindset
- NICET and/or ACI certifications are a plus—but we're happy to train the right candidate
