Responsibilities
- Perform take-offs and material quotes for contractors.
- Track and follow up on projects.
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance to engineers and contractors.
- Answer technical and engineering questions.
- Continuously learn to become an internal and external subject matter expert.
- Identify new project opportunities and follow up with potential customers visiting the website.
- Actively participate in “Technical committees” to stay engaged with the engineering community.
- Work with the sales team to proactively identify value engineering opportunities where helical piles/anchors are a viable alternative.
- Prepare material submittal packages for customers.
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering; or its demonstrated equivalent.
- EIT or PE certification preferred but not required.
- 5 years of Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural experience.
- Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, basic CAD).
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong customer service experience.
- Easy to work with, curious, hardworking, and self-starter.
