Geospatial Research Supervisor - Hybrid
About the role
The Geospatial Research Supervisor in the Data & Innovation Unit is responsible for managing, training, and supervising staff in housing policy, data, and research projects, with an emphasis on geospatial analysis using GIS tools.
Responsibilities
- Developing training strategies for and advising their direct reports in the performance of communication, project management, data visualization, data analysis and research, report preparation, stakeholder outreach, and technical assistance activities.
- Providing policy and legislative analyses, advice, and recommendations on housing and community development policies.
- Actively supporting the Department’s mission and policy priorities.
Requirements
This position requires reporting to an HCD office a minimum of four days per week. In limited cases, at the Department’s discretion, an employee may be approved to work in a remote-centered capacity on a temporary basis until appropriate office space becomes available.
