Geologist

About the role

The Kingsville, TX office of Kleinfelder has an immediate opening for a Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist. This position involves collecting environmental data from sites in various stages of assessment and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Collecting groundwater and soil samples
• Installing monitoring wells
• Identifying and evaluating sensitive receptors
• Analyzing and interpreting analytical data
• Authoring technical reports
• Progressing sites towards regulatory closure
• Learning and honing the fundamentals of Data Collection, QA/QC, and observational documentation

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience
• A strong technical or educational background in geology or engineering
• Strong communication and writing skills
• OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER training

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in geology, engineering, or the sciences
• E.I.T preferred
