About the role
The Department of Geography & the Environment at California State University, Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool to teach undergraduate courses in physical, environmental, regional, and human geography. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in physical, environmental, regional, and human geography.
- Interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
- Work with diverse populations and foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Show evidence of high-quality teaching through relevant work experience and professional capabilities.
- Provide evidence of teaching effectiveness through sample syllabi and teaching evaluations.
Requirements
- Hold at least a Master’s degree in Geography or a closely-related field.
- Demonstrate ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students.
- Show experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Show relevant work experience and professional capabilities.
- Show college and university teaching experience.
