About the role
The Geography & Environmental Resources Program invites applications for a pool of part-time lecturer applicants from candidates qualified to teach undergraduate geography and environmental resources courses. Because program needs vary from semester to semester, applicants are encouraged to identify any of the following areas of coursework they would be qualified to teach in: introductory and upper-division undergraduate courses in human geography, physical geography (including a lab course), GIS/geospatial technology, environmental resources, and sustainability.-
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Geography, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Science is preferred. An M.A. or M.S. in Geography, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or related disciplines will be considered with evidence of strong teaching or fieldwork experience. -
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of impressive undergraduate teaching and a strong record of fieldwork.
