About the role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Genitourinary Cancers.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff and medical students.
  • Applicants must have excellent qualifications in teaching.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include care for patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service.
  • There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology is required.

Qualifications

  • Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Skills

  • Excellent qualifications in teaching.
  • Ability to provide management and/or leadership.
  • Expertise in the specific area of Genitourinary Cancers.
