CE Track Faculty Position, Genitourinary Cancers - Assistant Professor

About the Role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of genitourinary cancer.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
  • Evidence of scholarship is required on the clinician educator track.

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents, and medical students.
  • Provide education, mentorship, and research support to hematology/oncology fellows.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Care of patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting.
  • Attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).

Research or Scholarship Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow an independent research program in translational genitourinary oncology.
