About the role

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full-time medical oncology faculty member with expertise in genitourinary malignancies. This position is on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment
  • Participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials

Requirements

  • MD degree
  • Board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology
  • Licensure

Qualifications

Experience in translational research, developmental therapeutics, and innovative clinical trial design is preferred.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in clinical practice and research are essential.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $270,000.00-$370,000.00. Northwestern University provides a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
