We are looking for a Generator Technician to join our growing business within residential and commercial work. If you are hardworking, motivated, and have a great attitude, then you’re looking in the right place. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions and failuresReplace or repair defective parts and components as needed.Test and verify repairs to ensure proper operation.Conduct regular inspections of generators and associated systems to identify potential issues or safety hazards.Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.Complete and submit service reports in a timely manner.Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairsCommunicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders. What You'll Bring Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment and the ability to read technical schematics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50+ lbs.Capable of working in various environmental conditions.Valid Driver's License2+ years working with generatorsThis job is with an independent Generac channel partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
