Generalist Open Rank– Senior Instructor-Professor
About the Role
The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor or above. The successful candidate will serve as a generalist in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as gynecologic surgery. This role emphasizes clinical excellence while contributing to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in a dynamic academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient services and gynecologic surgery.
- Participate in night, weekend, and holiday call schedules to meet the division's needs.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
Work Location
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

- Senior Instructor
- Board-eligible OBGYN
- Colorado Medical License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Meets criteria for Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
- Assistant Professor
- Board-certified OBGYN
- Colorado Medical License
- 2-4 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
- Associate Professor
- Board-certified OBGYN
- Colorado Medical License
- 5-7 years of clinical OBGYN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
- Professor
- Board-certified OBGYN
- Colorado Medical License
- Ten (10) years or more of clinical OBGYN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 5-7 years of leadership experience in clinical operations
- Experience as a clinical educator
- Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Pay
The hiring range for this position has been established as:
- Senior Instructor: $260,000-$280,000
- Assistant Professor: $280,000-$300,000
- Associate Professor: $310,000-$330,400
- Professor: $330,400-$350,000
