Job Responsibilities

• Watch for equipment malfunctions or product defects
• Load raw materials into equipment
• Unload work in progress or finished product
• Move materials to and from the equipment
• Identify reject product
• Dip product into sanitizing bath
• Notify lead or supervisory staff if unusual operations identified
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Comply with organization policies including safety, good manufacturing practices, food safety, and employment and work rules

Requirements

• Experience & Skills: 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work Environment: Manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyor
• Physical Abilities: Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls, standing/walking on concrete flooring, standing/walking for greater than 4 hours
