About the role
Must be open to work all shifts. Will train on 1st shift $27.56/hour As Production Associate.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high sanitation level of area assigned and allocated to individual’s responsibility (FPZ's).
- Willing to work necessary overtime required and seven days a week if scheduled. (including holidays)
- Willing to assist wherever necessary plant wide. (including repair and mill repairs)
- Must be able to complete and maintain the necessary records (inventories, rail and truck loading and unloading data, and others as required)
- Maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance in and around the grain elevators and other areas assigned
- May be assigned other duties by the supervisor
- Must sign off on classification procedure when qualified on all aspect of the job
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Willing to accept accountability and work well in a team
Essential Skills and Experience
- Must be able to maintain effective communications within your own departments and all other departments (Lab, Office, Warehouse, and Elevator)
- Must be willing to be the final QA protection for Ardent Mills to the customer
- Work safely, following all safety procedures, taking all precautions, and using all required safety equipment
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
- Ensure that only approved equipment such as brushes are used
- Check all machinery after starting to insure everything is in proper working order before
- Absolutely must pass a physical abilities test with or without reasonable accommodation with the ability to:
- Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level
- Frequently climb stairs and/or ladders
- Frequently lift and/or carry up-to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up-to 81 pounds
- Frequently push/pull up to 36 pounds of force
Physical requirements and working conditions
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator)
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work a machine paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions which include: Heat/Cold temperatures (inclement weather), Indoor/Outdoor environment, Dusty environment, Noisy environment, Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes, Elevated Places
- Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection
