Job Details

As a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider, you will join CHI Health Clinic at St. Francis Medical Center, specializing in all aspects of bread-and-butter surgery within clinic, operating room, and hospital rounding.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate provider, able to communicate effectively and collaborate with others. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited advanced practice training program (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
  • Meet board eligibility or certification requirements
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and health-care professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families

CHI Health St. Francis is a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving Central Nebraska. Our hospital offers a 16-bed open ICU with after-hours eICU support, a well-established hospitalist and intensivist program, and a wide range of engaged subspecialists—creating an excellent environment for collaborative, high-quality perioperative care.
