Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including new and used vehicle sales, inventory management, and merchandising
- Build and maintain a results-driven sales process that delivers an exceptional customer experience from first contact to delivery
- Set the tone for a positive, accountable, and energetic culture that reflects our servant leadership philosophy
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales consultants and sales managers, helping grow the next generation of automotive leaders
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to forecast and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with the General Manager on pricing strategy, inventory acquisition, and overall dealership profitability
- Ensure full compliance with dealership policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience required
- Proven track record of success in automotive sales management, with measurable results to back it up
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales process, from lead generation through the finance office
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing people
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- A high-energy, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to doing right by both customers and team members
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
