General Production Operator (GPO)

Job Summary

General Production Operators (GPOs) at Ariel support manufacturing by using manual machines and hand grinders. They are responsible for finishing and testing high-precision parts that we use to manufacture the world’s best compressors. Quality checks are performed on every part using precision measuring equipment to ensure the integrity of our product.

Job Responsibilities

• Use manual machines and hand grinders to finish and test high-precision parts.
• Perform quality checks on every part using precision measuring equipment.
• Work off of a dispatch list using SAP.
• Operate heavy equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, etc., safely.
• Manufacturing and/or mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience using hand grinders or similar tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Attention to detail and a quality mindset.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Manufacturing and/or mechanical experience.
• Experience using hand grinders or similar tools.
