About the Role
The Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD) Children’s Physician Group seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join Norfolk Pediatrics, a well-established outpatient practice serving children and families throughout Norfolk, Virginia. This opportunity combines the stability and resources of a nationally respected children's health system with the meaningful relationships and community impact of a neighborhood pediatric practice.
Responsibilities
- Join a mission-driven practice serving foster care, military, and underserved pediatric populations
- Enjoy a four-day workweek with very light call
- No inpatient admissions, hospital rounding, or newborn nursery responsibilities
- Join an established pediatric practice within CHKD Medical Group
- Practice at the region's Foster Care Center of Excellence while making a meaningful impact on vulnerable children and families
- Care for underserved and vulnerable pediatric populations
- Teach and mentor pediatric residents
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician
Skills
- Robust behavioral health and pediatric subspecialty support
- Light call supported by nurse triage and telehealth resources
