General Milling Clean-up Foreman

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily work activities performed by the construction / milling clean-up crew.
• Distribution and discussion of the schedule and equipment needed for the day with the crew.
• Confirmation with the plant operator about the scheduled loading times, type of equipment, and availability.
• Communication with owners, inspectors, and engineers about the project.
• Performance of minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform calculations for areas and volume.
• Measurement of distances from grade stakes, driving stakes, and checking grade from string line.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of construction experience and working knowledge of construction equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training and related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Safety knowledge.
• Knowledge of traffic control.
• Valid drivers license (CDL preferred).
