Milling Foreman

Responsibilities
- Assist with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling
- Oversee milling equipment needs and repair
- Reinforce continuous quality improvement in the area of pulverized material gradations, milled surface uniformity and roadway ride quality
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- CDL is desired but not necessary
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Must be punctual, dependable and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct
- Must be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities
- Ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in milling at the field level
- Prior experience as a Foreman
- Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
