Milling Foreman

About the role

We are seeking a Milling Foreman at Walbec Group. Walbec Group produces high-quality construction materials and offers professional design, engineering, and construction services through its six companies. This position will assist with personnel scheduling, crew management, equipment needs, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personnel scheduling and crew management
• Oversee milling equipment needs and repair
• Ensure continuous quality improvement in material gradations, surface uniformity, and ride quality

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• CDL is desired but not necessary
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Punctual, dependable, and high ethical standards
• Self-directed and motivated, managing multiple priorities
• Able to handle confidential information and comply with anti-trust laws
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends
• Tolerant of variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to join one
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in milling at the field level
• Experience as a Foreman
• Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations
