About the Role
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves setting restaurant goals, creating plans to achieve them, and leading a team of Department Managers to improve operations. The General Manager may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-volume restaurant to ensure profitability.
- Set and achieve restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership.
- Oversee Department Managers, helping them set and meet their own goals.
- Provide coaching and direction to improve department performance.
- Hire, develop, and train Department and Shift Managers for future leadership.
Requirements
- Previous General Manager experience, preferably in high-volume locations.
- Background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
- Must be 18 years or older.
